Students of the month

We are pleased to announce that the June's 'Students of the Month' (as determined by your nominations and votes) are: 

PROFESSIONAL:   Khayloni Womack  "Khayloni has taken every advantage of demonstrating professionalism and care for other students.  She is a role model for leadership."  (nominated by Mr. Stroop)

OPPORTUNITIES:   Humberto Vargas  "Humberto overcame his fear of presenting his TPP project and took the opportunity, despite his fear, to share his hard work."  (nominated by Ms. Generis)

WORK-ETHIC:   Jaylamyah Benitez  "In the past month (and more), I have a seen a distinct shift in Jaylamyah's work ethic, positivity, and focus on learning.  She is completing work on time, coming to class ready to work, and engaging in the work while using her potential even when challenging.  On top of all of those important positive changes, Jaylamyah has been making a significant effort to work with and alongside teachers, staff and peers to get and give support to be successful.  I am beyond proud of all she is doing and hope she feels proud of herself for making so many positive shifts!"   (nominated by Mr. Bonillo)

EMPOWERMENT:  Akosua Okyerebea  "Akosua frequently supports every student's endeavor to make Pathways great: car washes, school dances, and the like.  She enables all of us to have fun in school and take pride in Pathways."  (nominated by Mr. Stroop)

RESPECT & RESPONSIBILITY:  Jami-Lee Henderson "Jami-Lee is a respectful and kind student. He tries his best every day and I am always proud of him."  (nominated by Ms. Generis)

Each of these award winners will be presented with a 'Student of the Month' certificate (provided to their nominating teacher), their photo and accomplishment on the Pathways media wall, and their name listed on the bulletin board outside of room 330.
