Big congratulations to our Hartford Public Schools student-athletes who have been recognized as 2025-2026 Connecticut Association of Schools-Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CAS-CIAC) Scholar Athletes. The qualification criteria for this distinguished honor are below:
Each scholar-athlete must:
Be a graduating senior
Possess a cumulative grade point average of no less than 3.5 or its equivalent on a scale of 1-4 or its equivalent
Have participated in a CIAC-sponsored varsity sport in Connecticut for a minimum of two years
Have exhibited outstanding school and community service
Possess high levels of integrity, self-discipline and courage with personal standards with serve as a model to others
All of the HPS scholar-athletes will be recognized at the 43rd annual Connecticut High School Scholar-Athlete Awards Program on Sunday, May 3rd at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington. Congratulations to our students, their families, and schools:
