R. J. Kinsella Magnet School of Performing Arts (PreK-8)

On Wednesday, September 23, our Kinsella Middle School Cross Country team competed in their first meet of the season at Elizabeth Park in Hartford. The team was made up primarily of 6th graders and one 8th grader. Since the end of August, these student-athletes have been training several times a week, building their endurance and confidence. On race day, they put their preparation into action by completing a 1.5-mile course. We are incredibly proud of the determination, courage, and sportsmanship they demonstrated throughout the experience. Their first meet was an exciting milestone and the beginning of a great season for Kinsella Cross Country!
