Hartford Symphony Orchestra Brass Quintet Visit Noah Webster 5th Grade

The Hartford Symphony Brass Quintet performed at the Noah Webster MicroSociety Magnet School on Tuesday, February 6, and performed a variety of pieces for the 5th grade classes at the school.

Noah Webster 5th grade brass ensemble plays with Hartford Symphony OrchestraIn addition to the professional musicians, the Noah Webster advanced brass ensemble (above) joined the Hartford Symphony Quintet and played a song called Courtly Dance by Giovanni Gastoldi as part of the program.


The brass fanfare was a great way for the student musicians to experience performing side by side with the Hartford Symphony in this unique learning experience. The students had all worked very hard on the song and showed the audience the musical talent that everyone was able to share.
