Thank you to the team members and coaches from the University of Connecticut Men's Basketball Team who visited with our Kennelly School 7th and 8th grade students on October 8 to share the "Stay In To Win" program about why it's important to stay in school! Students were able to have a conversation with the players and coach and then signed a commitment to Stay in School.
Thank you to the National Association of basketball Coaches for this great program. College coaches and their players join together with middle school and high school teachers and administrators to motivate and encourage students, particularly those at risk of dropping out, to stay in school to graduation. By delivering the message that success in education is fundamental to success in life, students will be enlightened as to the impact of decisions they make in school.
