Mystery History is a tradition in Montessori that allows students to visit the past through curiosity, creativity and storytelling. In this engaging event, students have an opportunity to dress up as a historical figure that they have researched, give first-person narration, and share intriguing clues about their identity. Classmates, teachers, and families all join the fun by solving the mystery of who the student is.

This month, students in Mrs. Scianna's class at Annie Fisher Montessori hosted their own mystery history celebration. They dove deep into their research, carefully prepared their presentations, and dressed up as their chosen historical figures. During a lively gallery walk, they shared their clues and discoveries with their peers, other teachers, and families. Combining research, writing, and public speaking with using their imaginations and having fun, Mystery History allows everyone to have a joyful hands-on celebration of knowledge and creativity.
