We're so proud to announce that Annie Fisher STEM Magnet School earned the Merit School of Excellence Award, and Breakthrough Magnet School South, Great Path Academy, Montessori Magnet School at Annie Fisher, Breakthrough Magnet School North, and Noah Webster MicroSociety Magnet School have earned the Merit School of Distinction Awards from Magnet Schools of America.
To receive a national merit award, members of Magnet Schools of America must submit a detailed application that is scored by a panel of educators. These schools are judged and scored on their demonstrated ability to raise student academic achievement, promote racial and socioeconomic diversity, provide integrated curricula and instruction, and create strong family and community partnerships that enhance the school’s magnet theme.
This is the third year in a row that Breakthrough Magnet School South earned this award. Congratulations to all of the teachers, leaders, staff, students, partners, and families who contribute to the culture and success of our amazing schools!
