Congratulations to our Sport and Medical Sciences Academy/Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy boys’ baseball team on winning the GHC Conference Championship May 28 in an exciting 7–6 victory over Parish Hill High School.
With the win, the boys secured their third straight conference championship, making it back-to-back-to-back titles for the program. The team showed great heart and determination to bring home another championship trophy.
The team finished the regular season with a school-record 16-4 record and earned the #1 seed in the conference. Along the way, the team captured the C.R.A.L. Conference Championship, earned the Conference Sportsmanship Award, multiple players receive All-Conference honors and coach of the year.

Congratulations to the players, coaches, and everyone who supported the Sport and Medical Sciences Academy/Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy baseball team throughout this season. We are extremely proud of this group of student-athletes for representing HMTCA/SMSA with class, hard work, and dedication all season long.
Also, on Monday, June 1, the boys will host the first round of the state tournament at the beautiful Trinity College baseball field at 3:30pm. Come out and support the team as they continue their historic season.
Let’s wish the boys good luck as they compete for Class M State championship and continue making school history.
