Connecticut Supreme Court Justice Raheem Mullins and Hartford lawyer Cindy Cieslak visited Noah Webster 5th Graders to talk about rules and fairness, democracy, and representation. Students practiced what they learned by proposing changes to current classroom rules and learning about the techniques and processes to get those changes approved.
FUN FACT: Justice Mullins is the youngest person to be nominated to the Connecticut Supreme Court, the highest court in our state!

The competition is heating up! We've got our March Madness 2023 #FinalFour! Good job, Rawson School, Global Communications Academy, #Renzulli Gifted & Talented Academy, and West Middle Hawks! HPS Students: make sure you have perfect attendance all four days this week! Schools are closed Friday, April 7 for the Good Friday holiday and next week is Spring Break, April 10 - 14. Make sure you're back at school Monday, April 17th for the final competition slam dunk of #hpsmarchmadness2023 !
